THE CESSARO BETA II SYSTEM OFFERS UNSURPASSED DYNAMICS AND REALISM WITH ANY GENRE OF MUSIC
Our new Beta II upgrade improves performance from the highest treble to the lowest bass. The huge frontloaded midbass horn and the active low basshorn will transform familar records into something incredible. You will be astonished by your music collection. The Cessaro Beta II-F4 has to be heard to be believed! It is a modular construction which can be upgraded to the Gamma II-F8 at any time and like every Cessaro it is built without compromise. You have to hear it by yourself to understand what we are talking about.
The Cessaro Beta II is a 4-way horn loudspeaker system:
Bass
Four 16″ bass TAD Alnico units driving a huge frontloaded bass horn, the entire bass section is driven by two special solidstate power amps with huge 1200 W transformers each (all II-models have the new poweramp inside)
Low-Mid
Spherical composite horn with a bespoke papercone driver and Alnico magnets
Midrange
Spherical composite horn with a 2″ TAD TD-4001 compression driver and beryllium diaphragm
Treble
Cessaro modified TAD ET-703 compression driver with Cessaro brass horn cobalt magnet and beryllium diaphragm
Driver
When it comes to drivers our quality standard is the Japanese top manufacturer TAD. Even if TAD drivers are only rarely used nowadays because of their pricing structure, they are without an alternative for the technical realization of our acoustical demands.
TAD drivers with their beryllium diaphragm offer the benefit to react twice as fast as other diaphragm materials. Also it is light and stable like no other material. Because of the rapidity acoustical details can be reproduced, that couldn’t be heard otherwise. Speakers with beryllium diaphragm also react significantly more impulsive.
